I JUST GOT A 5.54 KRINKOV KIT FROM K-VAR, BY THE WAY,(THEY ARE SELLING THEM FOR $249.00 THIS MONTH),AND OF COURES THEY ARE IN BRAND NEW PRE-ASSEMBLED CONDITION. I UNDERSTAND THAT YOU NEED THE FORM-I FROM THE ATF AND $200.00 BUCKS,BUT WHAT KIND OF GUNSMITH DO YOU NEED TO BUILD IT FULL-AUTO,RETAIN THE THREADED BARREL,AND THE FOLDING STOCK? I'VE BEEN TOLD A HUNDRED STORIES THAT MAKE IT SOUND IMPOSSIBLE TO DO,BUT FROM WHAT THE FORM SAYS,(IT'S EASY AS PIE),BUT CAN ANY GUNSMITH BUILD IT OR DO YOU HAVE TO HAVE SOMEONE WITH A CLASS III LIC.

An individual can build a semi-auto short-barreled rifle with an approved ATF Form 1. No more machine guns can be made that can be transferred legally to non-licensed individuals. A licensed class 2 manufacturer can made machine guns tax-free, however these must be destroyed or sold to another class III dealer or to a le/military group if the manufacturer ever gives up his license/SOT status.
HTH!

Start with a registered AK-47 full auto weapon. This will set you back 6k or so. Then a AK gunsmith will use the receiver plus your parts kit to build you a AKS-74U full auto.
It may seem like a lot of trouble but its worth it IMHO.

AAAAH,
THERE'S THE MISSING LINK,INDIVIDUALS CAN NO LONGER MANUFACTURE FULL-AUTO'S,OR AT LEAST
NOT AFTER 1986.SO NOW WE CAN ONLY HAVE WHAT IS ALREADY IN EXISTENCE, UNLESS WE ARE A CLASSII OR CLASSIII MANUFACTURER OR DEALER. WELL AIN'T THAT A BUNCH OF F#*#*#* S#*#,SO ANOTHER WORDS I'VE GOT TO PAY OUT THE ASS FOR A FULL-AUTO,WHICH IS IMPOSSIBLE IN MY CURRENT FINACIAL SITUATION. THOSE BASTARDS!
THANKS FOR THE INFO GUYS,

Mountain Man,it seems as if that is the lawmaker's intention- to make full-autos too expensive for us peons.Paying $6000.00 for a machinegun is about as easy today as paying the $200.00 tax was in 1934 when they first instituted the NFA.More proof that our lawmakers only want to see the "right" people ie:the rich, have access to such toys.
