Retainer Pins ??? Drill bit size/installation

In the KVAR krink Kit, It comes with Retainer Pins for the Frontsight Block/barrel. There are 2 smaller ones for the sight block and 1 larger one for the barrel. What size drill bits should be used for these. I take it after you drill, you tap them in with a hammer. Is this correct? What keeps them from coming out? Thanks.

3mm. a tight press fit (drill undersize .001"-.0015") keeps them in place.

Do you know what size the large retainer pin that holds the barrel should be drilled out with? Thanks.
