I went to Gun World yesterday, and there on the shelf were brand spanking new Remington 7600s, a full length model in 35 Whelen and a carbine in 35 Remington. Same price, $540 - $40 rebate. The guy said they were a limited run, 2003 only.
I didn't see a word about this on Remington's website. Anyone know if the limited time stuff is for real, and if substantially lower prices are realistic? Gun World isn't the highest in price, but not the lowest either.
I've been wanting a Whelen for a while, but was thinking after I got all the semi-autos I wanted I'd get something converted to it.
