What do you think would be a good price for 1000 rds?

If you can get some Q3131A or M193 for $180ish then I'd say jump. You could always pick up a case of Wolf for a hell of a lot less.

I just purchased 1000rnds of this, Federal American Eagle .223 Rem. (5.56mm) FMJBT 55gr,Natchez (http://search.cartserver.com/search/search.cgi?cartid=a-7002&category=iCatDEFG&maxhits=20&keywords=afa02) worked out about 0.16 a rnd after shipping.
