yes it will be a single hook. it also has nothing to do with trigger slap(being a single hook) also it is very easy to change it to a double hook receiver. you just have to make a small notch in the trigger hole in the receiver. yes the tapco fcg's should be a fine product. they are the gordon tech fcg with a new name. i guess tapco bought the rights to them.

Most all AKM (stamped receiver) pattern rifles have a single hook trigger, the older milled AK's are the models which have the double hook. The stamped Chinese AK's have double hook triggers. Some people prefer the double hook triggers over the single.

What are the advantages/ Disadvantages of converting it to accept a double hook trigger?
