I'm just wondering why most fa Aks are about 8000 dollars while the ones at Proggressive arms are around 500 bucks. Umm. wtf ?

Pre-86 transferables are $6000-$10000. The ones Progressive has are Post-Samples available only to Class 2 FFL, Class 3 FFL with LEO demo letter, Law Enforcement, and Military only. The difference in price is based entirely on legal status, not the item in question.

As noted above supply and demand.....We(civilians) have been cut off to any new machine guns since 1986.....What was registered before that is available to us and what is made after that is untouchable(legally and probably unconstitutionally law)
Of course the elite protectors; law enforcement can buy new machine guns.......
Bad law at it's finest.
