If I had to guess based on SB & INI I'd have to say it's Sellier & Bellot ammo from the Czech Republic.

Was the ammo priced good? Always looking for more to add to the stockpile, live in the Haymarket area and do come up that way.

Sounds like Santa Barbara from Spain. Haven't shot any, but saw alot of it at the fun show today.

Found this http://www.aaconsult.com/ammoreview/html/_223_reviews.html

Look about 2/3 way down under spanish SS109.

The stuff was $4.99 for a box of 20 rds.

Seems real steep price wise for a box of 20... I grumble when I have to pay more than 2.99/20 for Lake City XM193 or Q3131a...:D

Santa Barbara SS109 is good stuff. Probably the most accurate surplus 5.56 I've ever tried. It has been said to be plagued with soft brass, but it chugs right through my 11.5" SBR, and you know how hard shortys are on casings.

I was able to hold MOA groups with this stuff in my NM barreled Oly pre ban before I sold it. Cole's distributing sold a ton of this stuff a few years ago, and I still have a few thousand rounds or so. I think it went for around 12 cents per round back then. I remember that it was a little more expensive than the SA surplus from Sportsmans Guide, but that it was more accurate and NATO spec.

Hope that helps.
