OK - checked the FAQ, no info... how can I get my Avatar from the "other" board over here?

Everytime I go to look what is avaiable there is nothing listed? So how do we do this and get other pictures from other sites? :(

Good... I HAVE my Avatar.

For the rest of you - "Avatar from URL" does not work. Upload from your desktop. The Avatar choice is at the BOTTOM of your Profile advanced features, reached by hitting "change avatar". You'll get an out of place "thank you" message - ignore it and wait.

i've tried to upload a Avatar from my computer. but all I get is a broken image picture......it's BMP image that I resized to 49x50 7454 bytes........what am I doing wrong?

I would stick with a JPG or GIF... BMPs can be very strange downloading to a UNIX box...

I'm not gettin' it????? I have a jpg to big for the AVATAR to handle. I goto image properties & shrink it. Then load it in my Comp. It then turns into a html????? How do I keep it from doing this?
