Any seen any varmints lately? I saw one in a VERY populated place on Thanksgiving day. It was cold and raining, but this little groundhog was apparently hungry enough to brave the elements. He was chowin' down and having a good time from the look of it. Wish I could have popped him...
Anyone else have any sightings? :sniper:

Saw a yote last night driving back from a B-Ball game, chased him around with my headlights.

I had another groundhog sighting on the way to raliegh this weekend. Plenty of guns around, but no ammo and too close to traffic. It would have been road hunting and that is frowned upon by most.

Glad to hear that someone's getting some action. I've seen groundhog activity, but never when or where I could pop them.

A couple coyote families back behind our house a couple nights ago. Pretty cool hearing them yip and yap back and forth.
A couple of months ago a few javelinas tore up our neighbors dog. The dog went investigating on the rear corner of their property, a wash runs through it and the javelinas had set up house and I think one of the females had just had a litter. Bad news for the dog. They were able to save him, and the owner came out and shot two of the javelinas. Animal control came out and so did the sheriff. At least I got a couple pounds of jerky out of it. :D
How you doing Scott?

Doing pretty well. Nothing that I can complain about. Very very busy at work.
Glad to hear that you got some jerky and sorry bout the neighbor's dog. Javelina's are some nasty lookin critters with large tusks. They aren't that big from what I remember, but they do pack a whallop. I used to live in Texas and a buddy of mine's dad had a javelina mounted on his fireplace. We would often put a cigarette in it's mouth between the teeth/tusks and sunglasses on it's nose. My friend's dad didn't like that much, but we thought it was hilarious.
