Looking for more mag info

I plan on buying a AR15 soon (my first). I have read about all the steel mags and which ones to get, I also like the look of the synthetic mags as well. I remember hearing that one of the mags are bad. Is it the thermold or the orlite, I would guess that the orlite are great because they are Isreali.

The Orlites have some problems with the old Bushmasters. The Orlites with the number 1-19 won't fit! The newer ones with 20 and above are fine. The thermolds are great mags just be sure that the ones you get are US made and not the Canadian ones!

The Isreali's are not using Orlites any more and have switched to USGI mags.

Also the Orlites and Thermolds don't run so great in cold weather.

i love the thermolds. only problem is don't know where to get replacement mag springs and followers. anybody know?
