I have a gun rack and I simply leave them on the rifle.

1. Never thought of it. Except for a few most of mine are collecting dust on top of the Gun Cabinet. Give me some ideas as well:p

I chase my wife around the house with them and poke her in the booty with 'em! :o :D

I have a couple of different places I display rifles around the house, like over the fireplace (when it's not fire building season) and in a display rack in my office. I usually rotate different rifles thoroughout the year and those that have bayonets get diplayed with it as well. Otherwise, they stay in the vault with the guns not on display.

Most of mine are just sitting in a box, no display involved.

You could try mounting them on the wall in sort of a half circle with the blade points facing inward. Kind of an arch of knives sort of thing. You could also get two thing strips of wood whatever length you want and put them together with spacers to form a gap between them. Mount them to the wall and slip the blades down into the gap. Nice vertical display and they won't fall out. HTH

Find a clothing store going out of business, buy some mannequins, get some repro uniforms and let your imagination run wild...:D

I find that brightly painted and carefully placed bayonets really liven up a Christmas tree.

Wow, I'm suprised that noone else has used them as letter openers:eek:
I find bulgarian AK bayonets to be the best.

Put up some peg board on that free wall and hand them up, they make all sorts of hooks and holders you can use on pegboard. Like I do with my rifles here:

wow...nice.....
I put keyrings through the belt "loops" on the scabards and hang them with brass picture hooks on the wall next to the gun cabinet.
But I like the letter opener idea. I might have to bring one to work.
I used my Swiss 1914 Sawback to carve a turkey last year....you should have seen the looks on my inlaws faces :D
