I just received my wood from the Polish Army Store (http://search.stores.ebay.com/search/search.dll?query=ak&srchdesc=y&sid=33258349&store=POLISH+ARMY+STORE&colorid=15&fp=0&st=2&submit=Search) on eBay, and I just want to let you all know it is the nicest stuff I've ever seen. I bought one of his milled stock sets and a laminated upper/lower set and they are just beautiful. The upper/lower are listed as AKM, but if you contact him, he also offers the AK-47 laminated lower for $7 more on the set, which I ordered instead. It took about a week to get to Ohio from Poland.
I'll try and borrow a digi camera and get some pics, but this is honestly some fine stuff.

He says between 10 to 14 days, but it was more like 7. I kept the package too, because it was basically covered in Polish stamps. :)

Time depends on size of order.
A single stock set can be sent as a letter package.
That will take 7 to 10 days.
more then 2 stock sets will be sent as a parcel and that will take 2 weeks. But some items take even longer.
I am awaiting a package. It was shipped 12/3.

One thing to consider when you buy things from Poland.
There is NO guarantee what you are getting.

I have purchased over 30 stock sets in the past 2 months.
They have ranged from MINT, never issued, never unwrapped
to looks like that sat in the rain for the past 20 years. The wood was bleached out, the screws rusty.
Also, if you get a picture of a set, it may not be the set you are getting.
Like certain sellers on here, they use the same picture over and over.

I don't use the polish store.
I buy direct from a contact in poland.
I buy in bulk because it saves on shipping.

Because I buy in bulk, and because I stock the items I sell, I can promise you that you will get excellent sets.
I try to take pictures of all the sets I sell.
That way the seller gets exactly what he pays for.

Yes, I do make a profit. But I also take loses.
If a grip comes in that is scratched up, I don't sneak it in with a set, I keep it and replace it with one from my collection.
If a lower comes in with rusty pins, I clean them up and spot refinish them. If a buttstock comes in with the holes drilled already, I discount it and make the seller aware of its condition.

I will not get into a big discussion concerning this, but these are just things to consider.
There are 2 people that sell polish stock sets on here.
One is me, and one is WJM.
I would give us a shot at your business prior to sending it to poland.

EDITED SECTION: And not to mention that both myself and WJM are powersellers. So we give back to the board some money. I have given the board $20 a month for the past 3 months. $10 because I am a powerseller, and $10 because I was over $750 in sales.

Yes, I love those Polish stamps! My most recent one looks like it was some election series. Also, Marcin is a great guy and Ive never had a single problem with any of his stuff and Ive spent well over $5,000 with him. As long as you specify what you need and what condition you want it in, it is what you get with him. But I only buy stuff 1 and 2 at a time, never some huge bulk order. That said, Ive still bought from DrugRunR because as he stated he goes an extra step or two on his end and having actual pictures is a big help if you need something very specific. You cant lose with either seller IMHO.

I'm not trying to start a pissing match here, just passing on a good word about a source of fantastic wood for AK's (as well as other Polish stuff), at what would seem to be excellent prices to any prudent person. If anyone doubts what this guy offers, check his rating on eBay, and check the product description; I doubt you'll be disappointed.

Again, I'm not interested in taking this discussion any further in this context. I'll just say that choice is good. Again, not trying to start a flame war, just trying to pass on good info to fellow members.
