I have been looking at AIM's site and have just been wondering what gives if anything. How can they offer a Bushmaster for $700 when the thing retails for $995? Are they used? Are the factory regects? What gives? I just dont see how they can offer them so cheap. If nothing gives, I know where I'm ordering my new gun from!

They buy in such quantities that they get great discounts, and unlike some other outlets that do not advertise with us, they pass the savings on to the buyer.

Aim is a great company to deal with. I have made many purchases from them, and made the trip to their store to say hi and leave money. I highly recommend them.

Quick word. If you want to order a firearm from Aim, they must have a copy of your FFL transfer dealer on file before they will take your order. Hey, when the prices are that good, I can live with that.

Do I just mail them a copy?

Yes. Just mail them a copy of your FFL. You need an 01 FFL (Firearms Dealer - i.e gunshop) to purchase the Bushmasters though. If you have a C&R FFL mail them that since they have great deals on C&R's as well. If you don't have an 01 FFL you'll need to talk to someone who does and have them mail AIM a copy. Many gunshops will order them for you but will most likely charge you for the use of the FFL (usually around $40.00 in my area).

I have bought numerous C&R's from AIM (I have a C&R FFL) as well as 1 non-C&R firearm. If you go to their place of business they charge $15.00 for the background check and 4473 paperwork. The folks are nice to deal with.

Remember, MSRP is a "suggested" price by the manufacturer!

The lower the number the retailer purchases, the closer they have to pay to that MSRP. This higher price is then passed on in their retail price.

The more a dealer buys, the lower they can offer it. AIM is one of the premier low-priced product distributors out there.

AIM has competition in companies like CDNN Investments, who come close in price, but I have stuck with AIM because of their great customer service and treatment of GunsNet members!!!

You can walk in a buy from them. If you don't have an FFL (01 or 03) you have to pay a $15.00 fee for the 4473 and background check if necessary. I've driven down there myself before, it's 4 hours...1 way! :D
I had the day off and needed something to do, ended up bring 3 rifles back with me.
