You should be fine!

Bushmaster is a top-notch company and will assist you with any problems you possibly encounter. Although I doubt you'll have any.

Just make sure to use USGI magazines and none of the USA brand crap...

I second the USGI mags. A cheap mag will make you one of those people who hate AR's. You should also pick up a USGI cleaning kit and some Breakfree CLP. Don't over lube your rifle. The AR is very tight for a military weapon. It needs very little oil in the right places to function properly. Too much oil will just turn to mud real quick.
BTW, allways shake your CLP before use.

I have an XM-15 E2S 20 inch and the only problem that I had was a factory goof, the gas key was crooked. Once I straightened and restaked it, the rifle has been flawless through several thousand rounds.

Like was said, clean and lube it carefully, and only use USGI mags, although there are some that have had good luck with the British mags. Also, Bushmaster recommends against using Wolf, and other steel case ammo.

Enjoy it and Merry Christmas!

just keep the AR clean with CLP and don't have clp or gun cleaner in the bore before you shoot unless you like gas blowback in your face.
