Where do I pick up the requisite forms? Every time I go down to the ATF office in the Federal Building, no one's there. When I call, all I get is the answering machine. Do they have online forms? I haven't checked because I really doubt they do.

Please help me out, Class III holders.

Do you just want to buy a machine gun? or do you want a class 3 dealers license?
Do you have an FFL?

listen to me boy.
first off, you've got to be over 21.
second, you need a F.F.L. 01
then call atf in washington, D.C . 202 927 8330- this is to NFA: ask then for an application for a class 3 license/tax stamp. if they don't have them, they will know where to go.

You can own MGs in most states without being a FFL/SOT. Read the link below and it will answer most of your questions.

Thanks! I thought it was a little screwy that I'd need to obtain an FFL before I got registered to own a NFA type gun.
