English steel mag fit

I got some Engligh steel mags from ammoman and only inserted one into my post-Willy Colt for fitting. They were tight in the magwell which would prevent them from being drop-free. They scraped the bolt by a hair which I can fix. I really like the quality and heft they have. I only tried one since i didnt want to scratch all the mags.

So..
1 - is a drop free mag desired for the AR ?
2 - How do they fit for you other guys on other AR types/brand ?
3 - main question, should I buy more of these ?

My mags were tight, but I think that as soon as the park wears down on the contact areas, the mags should drop free. I didn't try to drop them free empty, but they came out freely loaded. I'm sure they will be great for a long time. My rifle is a post Colt too...
