I have a bunch of 30 rounder mags for my AR15 .. I do not want to buy a new mag for coyote hunting so I was wondering if there was some way to plug the mag well from the bottom to limit the capacity to like 5 or 7 or 10 rounds ..Then when hunting is over i can convert the mag back to a 30 again ..I was thinking of a wooden dowel threw the spring to stop the base plate from going past this type of limit ..
HAS ANY ONE DONE THIS BE4 AND IF SO HOW WHERE THE RESULTS ?????
If there is some other ways I would like to hear about it
Thanx again Mad

You could try shoving a 2x1/2 chuck of wood up there to stop it, but unless you live in a state where the Conservation Dept. goes by peoples word, then expect to be taking apart your mag alot to prove it only holds 10 rounds or less...

You could always get teh specs of a 10 rounder and cut down one of your 30 rounders. Its permanent but its free.
