Free float handguard

I'm looking fo a free float handguard for my AR10. Found one thats cheap. Anyone ever tried one of these? Are they any good? The price is right.

How hard do you think they would be to install?
Do you need to remove the barrel etc?
(yes, I know nothing!)

The barrel and front sight base would need to be removed to put a FF handguard on. If the front sight it shaved, you may not need to remove the front sight, but the barrel and barrel nut will still need to come off...
