Kurts Kustom brake on a M4A3

If the miniY is removed, does the Kurts Kustom 1 1/2" brake screw on the barrel or is the barrel not threaded under the miniY thing?
Is it best to use peel washers if it is screwed on to get proper fit and then what????

Kurt will cut the Mini-Y off, thread his legal brake on (if threads do not exist he will cut them) using a crush or peel washer and then blind pin the brake in place.

He does excellent work and I highly recommend his services.
