I sent a couple peices down this week to get refinished.
We came across something weird.
Most of the wood is the same on all the peices.
But this lower was wierd.
The side peices were one type of wood and the middle (lower part) was a different.
The whole thing was stained to match.
In the past I thought that the wood was just naturally dark. But we know know that it is stained.
I have seen more polish wood then ANYONE on here.
I can say this because I see every peice I sell. I would say I have seen over 40 sets both milled and stamped.
I am not good with the names of wood, so I am hoping Z_recto will clarify with the names.
