Finally a retail source for these (when I'm f'ing broke of course)!!
They're $49.99, $44.97 club price....with the discount that'd be $39.97, a great price.
Sick 'em boys! :D

I usually find out about these things too late but was able to put in an order and it still showed in stock (/me crosses fingers). Also knocked off $5 using the SG coupon.
Thanks!

of these, reasonable, for a long time. Oh well, the plastic took a hit and I ordered one, should have ordered two, one for each rifle but that would cause me to get a worse beating when it arrives.......Hope it is as nice as the one in the catalog......chris3

What the hell is going on with Sportsmans Guide? I just got an email stating they cannot ship my Bayos because they are restricted from shipping to IDAHO! Huh? Obviously someone at Sportsmans screwed up! That is rediculous! Unless they get this fixed, they will never see another from me...EVER! I am pissed!

yeah, they won't ship them to Texas either (i tried)!
anyone want to order an extra, and then ship to me?
the guide is weird about this. some bayo's slip through, because i've ordered from them before. they sort of quote a Texas statute that lists "illegal knives" which most bayo's would fall under, but the statute only addresses carrying on your person, not posessing. the statute that concerns posession only prohibits swithcblade knives. a bayonet that would be an "illegal knife" to carry, is not "illegal" to posess. i've tried to point out their error, but they aren't interested.
it's really frustrating, and i'm sure it's because of some idiot lawyer that doesn't know, or want to know.

Are you sure ? I called them a while back when I was going to order some bayos and they told me there were certain metropolitan areas in various States they wouldn't ship to (NYC , the 5 boroughs). Call back and make sure (although they're probaaably sold out by now:( )

I called the Idaho Attorney Generals office, as well as the Postal Authorities and both of them told me that Sportsman Guide was nuts! There is absolutely no restrictions against these bayonets. I am very frustrated. SG is simply interpreting the ID code in a VERY conservative fashion. They won't budge. I even offered to give them the phone numbers of the various individuals I spoke with and they said they were not interested. I can understand the concern over not sending certain restricted items when the law is clear. However, when it is NOT clear, they should at least attempt to get clarification if the oportunity exists.
Since they are a fellow sponsor and supporter of this great site, I will leave my comments at that.

BlackBore - I'll give it a try, but as the others have said, I'll probably be wasting my time. We'll see tomorrow.

Damn you! :) I bought one, and since i'm spending so much, I bought a 16 and 30 round mag for my CZ-75, and since I spent that much I decided to join the buyers club, plus the gunsnet coupon. So Now I spent too much money, and I bough a 75 round drum too! OH WOE IS ME!
I would have bought a reproduction k-31 mag, but I think I'll just buy another rifle from AIM for almost the same price and it will come with a mag!

Sponsor or not, that's crappy to dangle a legal product, offer it for sale, but not sell it to you....especially when your state doesn't forbid it's sale or posession.
That kind of weak-spined, lawyer-esque CYA stuff makes me sick. If it's such a PITA to sell it, THEN FRICKING DON'T! Stick to the Bull Penis Cane & Fishing Lure Toilet Seats!!!!!!!!
Ok, rant over.

For those of you that think the $49 bucks for the bayonet is high . . . I've never seen them for sale in the US for less then $80 bucks before. Those of you that got them are lucky some-bitches!
I don't know why Sportsmans Guide is so screwed up and won't ship them to Texas and Idaho!
If they had any left I'd get em and ship to you guys . . . unless they won't ship to North Carolina either.

Well, I just called them and believe it or not ... I got one! :D
Had to get it delivered to my parents address. They live 15 minutes away
Of course now I won't get it until March because they are currently sold out. :(

Sportsmans Guide is so screwed up, they wouldn't ship 7 round 1911 magazines to MA!!

Not taking backorder any longer, either. :(
Man-o-man what a deal. I'm sorry I have not been checking this board all along. The K31 bayonet is the only one I am missing for my C&R rifles.
FGS still has them for $82 (when bought without a rifle). One is on eBay starting at $69 (was a "buy now" for $89 before 1st bid was posted, and one site wants $129 for the same condition as SG listed -- and that one did not include a frog.
NUTS!
BTW: SG lists the fact that they do not ship cutlery products to TX. Who knows about the Idaho thing?
