Speaker Experts?

I recently setup my stereo and have it hooked up to my computer so I can play Mp3s on it. Ive got an RCA cable coming from the reciever that goes to a 1/8" pin stereo adaptor that goes to the soundcard. The problem is is I'm getting a humming sound from my speakers and I don't know why. Anyone have any Ideas how to fix this?

It hums because it doesn't know the words! :lool:


OK... seriously, it sounds like a ground loop. Try taking the power plug from ONE device (such as the stereo), reverse it and plug it back in. This may help.
