I was wondering if anyone here has shot the CZ52.It seems on mine the sight blade is too high and we shoot low when we aim.I purchased a second and the same problem. We own 9 other handguns these two are the only ones that do that. However we are real accurate point shooting the CZ's.Anyone here else have the same peoblems when using the sights?.

I am still working with mine. I think that I have the same problem. Once I am convinced that it is the pistol I think I will take a file to the front sight. The ammo I use makes a difference also. I've been using a lot of surplus, but I think that I need to try some S&B ammo before I make any permanent alterations.
Try different ammo, change your sight picture hold, and see what you can determine.

THAT'S ENOUGH.
FTLOMC -- First, welcome to the boards. While I think I understand what may have set you off, in the future you might begin by asking a poster "What is meant by that?" with respect to some comment that can be perceived a couple different ways. Now hold on a sec, please.
gp35fn -- I have no problem with your text reply as those questions are reasonable to ask in order to get info to help FTLOMC. I would probably ask the same ones myself. I do want to know what is the point of the "outer space" header message? In other words, what do you mean by that? On the surface I see no reason for that statement and as such it is out of line. You bring a lot of experience and knowledge to the party on a number of handguns, and I really would hate to see history repeat itself, IYKWIM.
Chutestrate and Bud D -- Way I see it, the somewhat baiting "outer space" comment set him off. IMO, piling on in this case is unwarranted. Each of you has contributed to different boards and you are most welcome here in the Combloc forums. I can understand your coming to gp35fn's defense, but without knowing the context of the header comment, seems he asked for it.
EVERYBODY -- listen to Russkie, chill, and start over. Everyone is welcome here, but this behavior WILL NOT happen in this board. This is for info exchange amongst enthusiasts. I would appreciate your each rethinking your responses and either editing or deleting them.
You guys want to carry on some flame war, go to the bottom.
Your understanding and compliance is very much appreciated.
Thanks,
Noah

Thanks to those who responded with maturity. When I ask a serious question, I expect a serious answer. Not somthing dumb like "Outer Space". Yes the other five CZ52's I have seen around town all have tall front sight blades.

No problem Noah. I think you are right. I have always gotten good answers here, even though I don't post often.
So back to the thread. Welcome For the love of my country. I'd like to know what you finally decide to do. I'm traveling a lot these days and don't shoot as much as I'd like to. My gun club doesn't have a lot of people with mil-surps so I don't get to talk to many people about them. I'll do the same.

What I done so far is take the post half way down; rounded it a tad so there is no sharp edges. This height of post for me on this gun puts me on at 20yards.On the other CZ52 that I recently purchased it looks like the same height is going to be needed taken off.
One CZ is from C.A.I the other is from Intratec. That is why I was wondering if anyone else had the same problems the groups on both guns are great about 1 to 1 1/2 they were just low on the paper.
Also what I have done to my CZ since I point shot with it so much is I Gold Plated the Post. Now I get faster target accquistion I just line up that gold Bead like a shotgun and let it rip
