Already wrote and received responses from my Senators, both saying they are for it and will sign the bill when it come to them.

As far as NC goes, Liddy Dole is supporting the bill. (Send her a thank you NC people.)

It should come as no surprise that John Edwards, fabulously wealthy tort lawyer and candidate to be the Democratic nominee for President, hasn't signed on yet (nor apparently does he plan to).

I've called his office twice, and the staffer that answered the phone blew me off. What is surprising is that my mother and father called on this issue awhile back – they're registered Democrats from the 50s who never changed their party affiliation – and they were quickly blown off as well.
