I've heard a lot of generally good things about most lower receivers, and wonder where to get them. If you know of any that are as good or better, please say so as well and where to get them.

DPMS - FAC
Olympic - FAC
Mega/Stinger - Carricoz Armory
Eagle - ?
CMT - ?
RRA - ?

Also, anyone know what the lowers are that Numrich advertises?

It says Colt but also says all GI spec.

I would also recommend you check out ADCO Firearms (http://www.adcofirearms.com) for a good source of RRA lowers.

In addition, check out CMMG (http://www.cmmginc.com) for DPMS lowers.

FAC has the DPMS ones for $100, EagleFirearms.net has RRA for $90, and I think Quantico has the best deal on Eagles at $75. I think that's where I'll be going.

plan on picking up a few for some "bastard" builds. alot better rollmark than the deer IMHO.

www.rguns.net has stripped DPMS lowers advertised in shotgun news for $99. I'll find out about their service this week(mine should be here :) ).

CMMG has the DPMS for $104. Not the cheapest but they have first rate customer service. I have purchased two from them and they went together great.

I also bought 4 carricoz, 1 of them already assembled to avoid me scratching it, good prices.
Their finish is a bit fuzzy compared to my Bushmaster and DPMS but still works fine.

RB Precision (http://www.rbprecision.com/index.htm)

Stag,Superior and stag lowers. Great folks to deal with. I drove 2 1/2 hour to to pick up my first Stag lower from Robert and Kirsten. They treated me like i was thier most important customer. Never had an FFL treat me with such respect. I've bought 2 lowers from then since
