Folks I need some help with the ID of a pistol. I recently inherited a Russian made Tokarev pistol that was brought back after WWII. The gun has no import marks or safety added...it is 100% original Russian. The gun has no factory codes that I can find on the slide or frame. On the leftside of frame and top of the slide is the date "1942" and the serial number starts with the code "BM" followed by four numbers. There are several proof marks lile four sided diamonds with the number "9" in them and circle with a "K" or "H". Any help would be greatly apreciated.
Thanks

Bearclaw2-not positive-but she's probably a TULA made TT33-without seeing her it's hard to be positive-TULA made the bulk of the TT33s for the Soviet Union during the "Great Patriatic War"-hold onto her she's got a lot of history-and you will find TT33 are great shooting pistols!-If you can post a picture that would help!

Thanks, I took some pictures of it today and will try to post them tomorrow. There maybe an Izmash arrow and triangle on the magazine floor plate, and even though the finish matches the gun...no serial number on it to positivly connect them. This is my second one...picked up a polish TT33 made in 1952 from SOG a while ago. Of all the pistols I have owned this has got to be the one that I enjoy the most.
