I am looking into buying a chinese frame, and hungarian parts kit from mark kubes........Any reason why this combo would not work? The chinese frames are new, obviously the hungarian kits aren't......But I am looking for a project, and as I love tokarevs, am wanting to build one. I am not worried about keeping parts nationalized, as this will just be a shooter........So if they are mixed and matched, I won't care. Any suggestions? Will the parts mix ok? I have not heard anything about the hungarian toks being that different from the chinese in that a chinese frame wouldn't fit the hungarian parts, but I would appriciate any advise.......

From my limited experience with a Chinese barrel in a Polish Tok, be prepared to do some fitting.

Maybe some others can chime in?

I want another one, but they are now rare and expensive.....That, and building one sounds like an enjoyable project. Are the hungarians clones of the original tt33, or are they cosmetically different? I don't like the versions, chinese or otherwise, that have the large wrap around grips......Personally, I like the original grips better. Any advise?
