Try to find a pistol that nice and with no import marks actual russian and no safety modifications, a few years ago say more like 8 years ago some russian tt's were coming in and SOG had some for 99.00 each and I thought i would wait on that and tend to more pressing wants and lo and behold I have not been able to find any like those since that time. I have settled on a polish tt33 from sog with safty modifications but no real russians.

Well Lockwood, I felt the same. One reason I got a C&R was to buy a TT. I lucked on a tread on another board for a group buy of Russian Toks. $280 each, unaltered, referbs(like new) 2 mags, holster and lanyard. Imported by SSME and they did a great job of hiding the import marks.

Sorry, should have said this was a year and a half ago. At the time no one here wanted in. Most thought it was too much $$.

notice the flaw in the pistol? It may be just me, but the left side grip plate is shorter.......Looks like it was shortened........Or like the grip is longer then it should be.......I don't know. Look closely, and see it you can tell. It just doesn't look right, and if its different, it makes me wonder why........
