I'm looking at an Oly Arms CAR-97 format, available in pistol calibers, and I own a 40SW pistol, but I think a 10mm would seriously rock! Better velocity, higher energy, better trajectory! Anybody own an AR in either one? Comments?

You folks should have warned me about the addiction that develops when dealing with these guns. I just got my first AR last week, (an Oly 223 Match/Target with 20SS bull barrel......schweeeet!) and I'm already mapping out my next one!
You folks have a very cool forum here, I'm glad I found it. I've been lurking here quite a bit this week, and have already learned a ton!

The one concern I can see is finding magazines. You can forget hi-cap mags in either caliber. Go 9mm if you want 30 rounders.;)

actually if you can find a mag block to take them the PPSH mags take 10mm

random thing i remember form a FAL conversion on the files, the guy doing it used (assuming) unmodified PPSH mags for 9mm, 10mm, 7.62x25, 9x23, and something else.
