Hi guys.
What is the going price for Polish Tok's?
I have found 2 diffrent ones at 2 diffrent dealers.
One is in NRA - Good condition for close to $250 I think.
The outher one is in NRA -Good/Fair condition and is around $160-$200 range.
Is either of these prices reasonable or should I keep looking.
Just for fun I also found A Chineese Tok (In 9mm!!!) for like $120 or so...Is that A good price (It's in fair condition)?
Thanks guys.

Just picked up a nice Norinco model 213 in 9mm for $119. I was originally looking for a CZ52 but thought the $119 price for the Norinco was too good to pass up.

I went to an auction today and picked up a NIB Norinco model 213 for 125 bucks. They tore the plastic bag that it was sealed up in to put it on display. The second mag and the tool are still in the plastic and all of the box and manual are intact.
Both mags have matching serial numbers to the pistol.
What do you think the collecor value is?

Maybe $150 tops, give or take. I passed on a NIB 213 at a show three weeks ago at $169, and at 4PM it looked as if everyone else did, too.

Cigarman,
Who imported your 213?

I have two, actually.
The one I bought yesterday is marked "CAI ST. ALB., VT" and my other one is "B-WEST TUC SON, AZ"
The Century import is in very good shape but has come minor wear and pitting because the guy I bought it from kept it as a saddlebag in his bike. It is extreemey accurate and many who have shot it are amazed that such a "rough" pistol would shoot so straight.
Of course I have not fired the B-West and don't intend to as yet.
In this area these "chinese toks" go a bit higher than in yours. A 169 213 would probably not last the weekend at a gunshow.

That's the interesting thing about this hobby, and the value of getting out of one's indigenous area. In one locale, you can't give a particular item away yet in another the same item is snapped up at (comparatively) unusually high prices.

Right you are, that is the nature of collecting.
I used to live in the Pgh area and we went to may auctions and sales. Both "depression" glass and "ruby" glass were popular with antique collectors. At the end of one sale a guy was buying all of the chipped and broken pieces. He told me he takes them down to the Southern states and they sell for higher prices than pristine items where we were.
Simailarly at a local auction here one dealer buys 10K worth of stuff every three weeks. He takes them to South Carolina and told me he nearly doubles his investment each time.
Problem is, he drives up the rices for us local people.
