Bolt hold feature

OK, I dontt know what to call it when the bolt is held open after the last round is ejected but mine doesn't do it reliably. I had Evolution Gun Works go over this gun, taking 7.5 months in the process, and it still flunks this function better than 50% of the time. Any ideas?

Have you had your mag's checked? The follower on the mag is what pushes up the bolt stop.;)

I appreciate the suggestion, Rew. I had no clue where to look. The fact that I have two mags kinda lends credence to your idea sice it fails about 50% of the time. I'm kinda new tho these semi's other than a Mini-30 (yuch).

If you know anyone with GI mags, try them, I'll bet you see a diffirence.;)

And you can test the bolt hold open feature by inserting the mag empty and charging by hand. If the mag doesn't lock open on a slow, full hand-pull, it's not likely to do so in action.
