Swedish Model 38 Carbine cal. 6.5x55. Carbine is mint/unissued & unfired with only a very few minor handling dings. All original (not arsenal refinished) military mauser carbine serial# 63xxxx made by Husqvarna in 1942. All matching numbers. Metal finish & bore appear truly excellent. Condition of wood stock remains excellent. In storage for over 50 yrs. Receiver is marked Husqvarna with date & Swedish Crown. Barrel end threaded for barrel cap. Brass disc w/text inlaid into RS of buttstock. Original sling swivels on stock. $245. Price includes 60 rds FMJ & SP ammo plus shipping to your FFL.

So how'd I do here guys?

Not a steal but about what I consider a fair price in todays market. I'm still kicking myself in the ass on passing one up in about the same condition for $150 bucks in 1996 at a show in Nashville TN. Big mistake!

I think you did extremely well... that same gun will fetch at least $350 on the traders... if not more... especially being a Husqvarna...

Post pics!! I wanna see!

I'd love to show you a picture of the gun CETME, but the bastard sold it to someone else even though I was the first person to say: "I'll take it".

Some people really suck!

What do you know about the ammo?

I'd be worried to shoot ammo that I'm not sure of... Just hope you don't get some super hot reloads that shoot through this guy's other guns fine, but may blow another one up or something...

Hey, there are more of them around buddy. In fact I saw a real nice one just the other day for about $150, but it needed a replacement stock. It had a new sporter stock on it.
