I am collecting W.W.I and W.W.II uniforms, patches, medals groups (if named and documented to a particular individual), photographs, and helmets. Also W.W.II German items if brought home by vets. Please get in touch with me if you have any such items for sale.
Thanks.

Thanks for the links vitiaz, but I am looking for ORIGINAL stuff. Although, some of those repros look pretty good.
I'm looking for the kinds of things that have been stored in attic trunks for years, moth holes, rust and all.

"but I am looking for ORIGINAL stuff"
Get out your check book!
eBay is probably your best bet. There used to be a site called TMCX(the militaria collectors exchange) but it has gone tu.
WW2 stuff is really getting hard to find and WW1 nearly impossible(at least the last time I was looking for anything). There may be some specailty groups on Yahoo etc.
If you make some good finds be sure to post some pics.
Sorry I couldn't have been of more help.

I saw on ebay last month a similar score FlintLock, maybe not in your area, but a Marine's footlocker, obviously lying in an estate for the past 50 years, was auctioned off in two or three lots. We're talking a mint dress, several sets of dailys, undergarments, belts, insignia from a whole career, shoes, everything. The second auction was the combat gear this Marine managed to "keep"- WWII helmet, camo coveralls, camo helmet cover, ammo belts, etc. All in mint condition, all to a named soldier. Even included the guy's discharge papers and many documents. An awesome find for a collector.

If you are looking for ORIGINAL German WWII i would not ever recomend or send someone to ebay! If you are new to WWII militaria be prepared it is VERY VERY i cannot stress enough VERY expensive. I have been collecting for years and recently sold off about 95% of my collection and just kept 3 complete head to toe SS uniforms and the pieces and feildgear that goes with them. If you have any questions about this area please feel free to contact me, as i can guide you in a right direction, BE WARNED THERE IS A HUGE AMOUNT OF FAKES OUT THERE! I hate to see someone get ripped off! I see more guys that are new to collecting make this huge list and go to the militaria show with $100 in there pockets thinking they are gonna go home with a SS panzer wrap and a knights cross...doesnt work that way. Sad to say. Thanks!

Hello Brian,
I know, the original stuff is expensive, and there are certainly plenty of fakes out there. It seems like most of what I've seen lately is either for reenactors or faked up. Your SS uniforms sound interesting; any chance of seeing pictures?
By the way guys, thanks for the responses. I appreciate ALL the input.

I have a ton of military stuff, mostly WW2 but some WW1. I have a complete WW1 US field uniform (minus boots). Interesting thing is that it has a german belt/buckle that must have been a take off. I also have a WW1 German officers belt. Have a ton of stuff so shoot me an email.
