Hey guys I hope this isn't a rehashed over and over question but I DID do a search and still have some questions!

I have a 16" RRA Tactical Carry (Ok I realize now that option wasn't such a good idea, but at the time....) anyway now that my eyes are going south on me I am looking into some optics. The three options that I am looking into with no particular order are:

(1) mounting an Aimpoint ML2 directly on the "tactical" carry handle
(2) ditching the carry handle and putting the Aimpoint on a cantilever mount with a rear BUIS
(3) ditching the carry handle and mounting an Eotech and a BUIS.

I kinda like the Eotech after seeing some of the pictures posted here and hearing the good reviews. I am wondering if you can mount an Eotech directly to the flattop and will that allow a co-witness with the front sights? Also on average how much does an Eotech cost, I would probably be interested in the AA battery version with no NV capability. Also do any of you have opinions on the rear BUIS, I was leaning toward an ARMS #40.

Thanks
:)

Hey man. I don't have any advice because that was all chinese to me. I'm not up on the optic talk. Yet.

What's the difference in "Tactical Carry" compared to an A2 or whatever. Just curious.

Yep, you can mount the Eotech directly to the flat top and it will cowitness with your irons. That is the way I'm doing my Bushy.
I got the ARMS #40 BUIS and am waiting on the Eotech I got on the sale boards over on the AR15.com. Pricing varies with each
dealer but the AA version without NV will run around 300.

here you go Dawg, right off the RRA websight:) It still looks really cool, but it doesn't really work for what I need.
