type 30 bayonet jap??

looking at buying a jap bayonet..the guy told me on the phone that it didnt appear to be sharpend, but it was pretty sharp(had an edge).. do any of u guys know if they were made like that..or did someone sharpen it at one time..he said it was in very good shape for the age and was asking 75$ for it...good deal or not

Well they were aresenaled sharpened, so they all have a factory edge. Now i don't know what aresenal you have ,but i will tell you this.It is very hard to find a frog, let alone in good condition.Now if the blade is decent and the wood ain't beat up.That is a good buy.I forgot to ask what kind of shape the scabbard is in.

I will add further comment, that a frog will fetch as much money as a bayonet , depending the circumstances.
