I checked out Numrich for prices on Jap headspace gauges and they are 50 dollars a gauge for either caliber (ouch) .Here is what a member on another board had to say.

In my opinion and my experience, headspace guages for Arisaka's are a waste of time and money, unless you are rebarreling one. Arisaka's traditionally are pretty sloppy in that area with loose tolerances, and the fact is, there is no one correct measurement.
