Last week I called Knight's in Florida to confirm whether I had a Knight's vertical pistol grip or not.
Last year I bought a Colt factory built M-4 upper with an Aimpoint M-2 and mount, plus a Knight's RIS system with a vert pistol grip and 3 11" panels.
It took me awhile to see this, but I suspected the pistol grip was not from Knight's.
I was able to confirm from the customer service gent that in fact, I had most probably an Airsoft vertical pistol grip(everything else in the deal was geniune except this part).
He took my name, address, and phone number and shipped me overnight Fed Ex a new Knight's vertical pistol grip, some Knight's decals, and a personal letter thanking me for my patronage.The package arrived today at about noon. I have bought several small parts from some of their vendors in the past, but nothing direct from the company.
I was totally amazed at that the gentleman( I don't want to reveal his name here as I did not ask his permission)did this for me, especially since I was only calling for information.
This was an act of extreme generosity and caring by one of the industry leaders and I wanted to make sure I thanked Knight's and the customer service gent(you know who you are :-)
publicly. They have definately made me a customer for life.
