What do you think will happen to the price of new, pre-ban config (or normal config after 13Sept;)) uppers when the ban sunsets?
I'd like a pre-ban configuration but will the prices more likely go up or down?

They'll briefly spike, then subside to about par with post ban uppers. The real deal will be for post ban uppers in formats that normally would have a flash hider (IOW M4geries,16" bbls), right after the ban expires.

Why would prices spike? Both pre and post are currently the same price. If a person was smart enough one would aquire a lathe, and offer a threading service. It would be a big buisness for a short time.

Increase in demand (or even a perception of that increase), plus a steady supply will spike the prices.
Prices will subside to about what they are now after 1-3 months or so. That's my best guess.
