Royal Ordnance vs malaysia

How can I tell the difference between the steel english Royal Ordnance mags and the steel ones that had the "made in malaysia" sticker on at one time. Are there any other differences ? I dont have both to compare. Are the one's from ammoman real English mags?

That's a good question; I have looked at the Malaysia mags and wondered the same thing. I have not pruchased any of them but have a few dozen of the phosphated "England" mags which have functioned fime for me once I trimmed 1/8" from the center leg of the dark blue follower.

I would suggest that you contact Eric directly and ask him about his phosphated steel 30s being English or Malay. If you do, please let us know what he says.
