A gun show seller had some Norinco .223 for sale. Brass case (tarnished) in yellow boxes within a wooden crate. Has anybody had any success with these in an AR15? Any good or bad opinions? Thanks.

Any Norinco ammo was imported in 1994 or prior. Some of the earliest Norinco .223 showed evidence of being corrosive.
For the money, if you are interested in economical shooting, I would suggest that you pick up some current production Barnaul .223 from Dan's Ammo. I have had good success with it in two Bushies and a preban Colt. www.dansammo.com
