CZ-52 question

I just picked up my first CZ-52, and I have a question. The slide will not remain locked back if the magazine is removed or even wiggled while still being seated in the pistol( both mags). I was thinking that the slide retainer or retainer spring were the most likely culprits, but I'm not certain as I'm still unfamiliar with this design overall. Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks.

Have you tried a different magazine? I had one magazine that would happen with and one that worked properly. On the magazine I was having trouble with you can see the notch that operates the hold open with the slide removed. I just flexed the magazine a little in that area and it fixed my hold open problem.
