Type 99 question......

I have a type 99 and I am in need, serious need, of ammo. Anybody know where i can get it? Also,is it 7.7x57sr......or, 7.7x58? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

P.S.......I got the rifle at a gun show for 140 bucks, in awesome condition. Now i need to shoot that monster.ha

7.7x58SR cartridge was for machine gun and the rim is to big for the Type 99 bolt .

The correct cartridge is 7.7 X 58. Ammo won't be cheap but i will dig you up some links
