Aimpoint Comp C2X

I am looking for a higher-quality optic for my 16 in. bbl AR. I am considering the Aimpoint Comp C 2X (The eyes 'ain't what they us'ta be!'). Does anyone out there have any experience/insite regarding this thing? I know that Aimpoint products have a great reputation for quality & durability, but I've not heard or seen much on this newer (I think it's fairly new.) product.

Aimpoint products are top notch!!!!!! The 2X won't get you much magnification, but will be better than 1X glass...

Thanks for the welcome! I continue finding the forum to be both enjoyable and informative. I've been browsing the forums for a while and have been registered on it for pushing two years. And thanks for the info! I use the AR mostly for tactical three-gun shoots and for home defense. In those roles, high magnification isn't needed and might even be a negative.:D
