Poo Sang 5.56

Found six boxes at a show today marked Poo Sang 5.56 Ball M193. Cost me $20. Got it home and must say it looks very nice. 1977 date, very clean. I've got PS 30.06 but know nothing about this 5.56 ammo. Anybody have/had any of it? Also got some Q3131A and some of the new Wolf 55grHP with Polymer coating.

Yup, I've shot it. I got 2 boxes from a guy at the range who gave it to me after I gave him a few targets. It's actually "poonsang" :D
and as you've figured out is the same folks who give us that fun PS 30/06 Garand fodder. I believe they're one of the Korean state arsenals.
The boxes I shot functioned fine, and felt about like any other 55gr ammo in the 3000-3100fps range. I didn't test it for accuracy past 25yds, just blasted cans with it.
Which show did you go to, and how much was the polymer Wolf .223? I'm thinking about getting some to feed my Colt, as reloading .223 plinking ammo is getting tedious.

I fired a few mags of the PS and it functioned fine. Didn't feel much different than the other ammo I shot that day. Went to the show in Salem, VA. IIRC the Wolf Poly was around $14 for 120rds.
