Here's a set of camo that's been in my collection since the late 80's. The condition is new as issued.http://www.gunsnet.net/album/data/500/7235S1.JPG
Consists of: Jacket, Trousers, Suspenders, Cap, and beret. The suspenders are worn under the jacket and exit "pockets in the shirt to fasten to D rings on the trousers making in effect the VDV coverall.http://www.gunsnet.net/album/data/500/7235S3-med.JPG
Here's the suspender hook up, There are also belt loops for the standard Soviet belt.http://www.gunsnet.net/album/data/500/7235S4-med.JPG
This is the internal holster and lanyard. The rectangle just below holster is one of the suspender "pockets" this keeps the suit windproof.http://www.gunsnet.net/album/data/500/7235S2-med.JPG

The left cargo pocket is actually a double AK magazine pouch, the right is a normal cargo pocket.http://www.gunsnet.net/album/data/500/7235S5-med.JPG
Unlike post Soviet camo jackets the Soviet VDV has the normal Soviet shoulder board.

An appology for the photos, I have no Mr Foam Head :( I hope you find this uniform of interest. I thought I'd post it before it's gone.

Cool!

But gone? Where's it going? You selling it?

No need to apologize for no Mr. Foam Head, he's going to be made a target one of these days anyway ;)

I'm in the process of sorting through a bunch of Soviet/Russian and South African(not current but from Border War) camo and field gear(neimoller Recce and regular RSA nylon gear, berets kevlars and such). need room, I'm being smothered with the stuff, lol. And will be putting it up forsale and trade(yeah it'll take up room for trades, but :D ). So as they say everything must go :( Even have a set of dubious RSA Soldier 2000 camo, no labels so who knows if issue  But it's neat, gotta love green chocolate chip camo :D

How much are you asking for the set?

I haven't set any prices on anything yet, still sorting gear. Most is from governments that no longer exist ;)

Here's a few examples of South African Border War, 1966-1989, camo.http://www.gunsnet.net/album/data/500/7235SA1-med.JPG
Camo of the South African Railway Police. A rather non discriptive name for a counter terrorist unit buil along the lines of the brit SAS. They were charged with protection of transportation, land and air. Their unit insignia was the winged UZI smg. The trousers have a double UZI magazine pouch on the right leg. Bush hat is used with a snap missing, uniform is unissued.

Makers Tag on SARP shirt.

This is and early set of SADF "Soldier 2000" , no lables so who know. Well made including sewn in military creases  As new.

This is a camo shirt worn by the SAP Special Task Force, the STF para wings are direct embroidered over the left pocket and the STF Operator's badge over the right. The "Flap" cap has a brass SAP badge. Unissued condition

Again I hope these are of interest to the members of this board.

When I finish sorting this mound of gear I'll work on prices and such and will post them in the appropriate section on the board.
