I was surfing during lunch at work and when I hit -view todays active topics- i was redirected to sign in because I did not have privilege. I hope this is just a snafu and not some moderation decision to try and get more signed up users. Making pages more difficult to view never ever ever leads to an increase in usage.
Secondly it annoys those of us who dont want to leave their username and password on a cookie on the work computer.
Like I said, I hope this is just a glitch, im starting to miss the moderation free free-for-all of AK-47.net.classic . I was never a new coke drinker either.
