Anyone build there own lower receiver?

I did. It was cake. Might want two sets of hands to do it though. What u want to know?

umm.. not sure what you mean...
build it as in assemble the peices inside a pre-made stripped lower reciever.. or... actually build it .. like... forging metal :)?
as dale said.. assembling it.. peice of cake..
making it.... no idea.. :)

I meant building one from a raw piece of metal,assemble a stripped lower isnt very hard as you said.:)

You don't have to make the whole lower. Do a search for "80% completed lowers". Those are castings with only the finish machining needed to create a usable lower.
I wouldn't bother myself, since the tools needed would cost me a lot more than a $100 stripped lower.

Ahh yes. I "assembled" not built. I wasnt thinking too hard when I read that. I would think it be a lot more money for all the tools then the cost of a good lower. But if you got the tools already or are planning on arming your own army that would be cool. :D
