What does everybody carry?

I carry a leatherman wave, and a small swiss army knife.

Also how many knives in your collection?

I have around 200. including swords.

Fairburn Folder every day

Total a hundred or so including a faithful reproduction of a Scottish Claymore made by the armourer at the Renaissance Festival. Spring steel polished to a mirror shine with brass hilt/pommel and Ironwood two hand grip. It's really nice.

Blades are fun to collect cause they dont break the bank and it's easier to keep them under the radar from the old lady than new guns!

I carry a leatherman multi tool.

I have numerous folders and straight knives but I like to carry my Smith and Wesson SWAT folder.

What qualities do you look for in a folder, Vampy?

Leatherman Wave. It's far superior to the old Leatherman tool, since it doesn't cut the hell out of my hand when using the wirecutters.

I agree LHS the wave is so comfortable to use. I'm surprised the other models are still available. azreloader that sounds like a sweet claymore. I have one but it's a knock off.

I carry gerber pocket knives or cold steel folding voyager. I just bought a swiss climber model I have been carrying lately. I have so many knives I rotate them as they get dull and then sharpen and start over. I really like the swiss army climber, I normally only use lock blade knives. I like the fact it has a small and large blade. You have a spare if one gets dull.

I just took apicture of the swiss knife I have been carring lately. I got it on closeout at Lowes. It came with the small one below. I think it is called the rally. http://www.gunsnet.net/album/data//500/18487logan_or_knives_-med.JPG

Leatherman Supretool and Victorinix swiss champ, both in belt sheaths, (of course one on each side, balance you know). When I was still employed, I used each at least a dozen times a day, now only 5 or 6. In the woods, or fishing or whatever, a 6 or 7 inch needlenose vise-grips is always in a pocket somewhere. Incredibly useful.

Then the knives of course, sort of spread around here and there for...ah..ballist/, nah... balance. Yeah, thats it balance. Balance is good!

Knives in the collection? I truly don't know, couple hundred maybe, plus maybe 30 blades waiting for me to put handles, scales or something on. Really don't know, "too d__n many" according to my wife (but only when she's mad at me anyhow) 8-)

azreloader, was that guy at the Ren faire an outfit called "Black Forest"? I have one of their tourney swords, I use it quite often to bludgeon my opponents.

Has anyone seen or know of a leatherman type multi tool that has a ratcheting bit driver?
