Here's a pic of a target - used my Bushmaster XM15-E2S with a Leapers 4x20 scope that I just got and mounted:

This is with Century's Hot Shot SS109 62 grain stuff.

I was sighting-in on a 6" round target and getting 1" groups -then switched over to this diamond target to see what she was really doing (I've found that this target allows you to index your cross-hairs agains the four points of the diamond and increase shot-to-shot consistency, thus improving accuracy - showing better what the RIFLE is doing).

Anyway, this Hot Shot ammo is very good stuff. I don't think I can improve on this with handloads...

BTW, it gives me 1.5" groups with the irons.

Nice group! How proud is Century of that ammo price-wise?

Well, here's the web site: http://www.centuryarms.com

I got 1,000 rounds on a special for $149 plus shipping if I recall right. I don't know what this ammo runs normally.

It is very accurate in my rifle though. Made in Bonsnia-Herzegovina. Primers are crimped and sealed. Brass is of good quality. Bullets are green-tipped.

Have had no malfunctions BTW - from four different brands of magazine.

This is not the least expensive "plinking" ammo you can get, but for the money, you get excellent results in my experience.

PMP is also good ammo and less expensive than Hot Shot - but not as accurate. Give about 1.5" groups - still not bad. I think Century sells that as well.
