I bought a Crvena Zastava Mod 70 in cal 7.65, and I can not figure out how to disassemble the gun. There was no manual with the pistol.
Has anyone taken one of these down? I would appreciate any information that may be out there.

Here is a parts list from Marstar--if you click on the link it takes you to assemby/disassembly (the M67 is the .380 version--only the barrel is different between the two. Marstar carries the barrels, but is out of stock).

Regarding the Marstar links, the exploded diagram is reasonably accurate for the Yugo-made Zastava M70 which is similar to the Tokarev TT33 in design if not size, but the assembly/disassembly instructions are for the CZ (Ceska Zbrojova) 50 Czech-made pistol, a different pistol altogether.

Cigarman and Noah Zark, thanks for the information and the Marstar link. The exploded view does look almost identical to the Tokarev. One main difference is that the Tokarev has a "spring clip" on the right side that holds the slide stop in. Remove the spring clip and you push the slide stop out and you pull the slide off the frame. My Model 70, like the exploded view of the Model 67 on the Marstar website does not have anything external holding the slide stop in.
I have put pressure and moderate tapping on the right side of the slide catch with the slide in various positions from battery to all the way retracted, without any movement of the slide stop. I am afraid of using "extreme force".
I guess I will leave the pistol as is - at least for now.

Do they still have any for sale? How much?
How good of a shooter is it?
The one you have is in .32 ACP right?

SOG is still advertising the Md 70's for 159.95 or 2 for 149.95 each. I paid 152.50 plus tax to a dealer at a gun show.
I have not yet shot the pistol. It is heavy for it's small size (all steel), and the single action only trigger pull is very heavy. It appears well made and is nicely blued.
My pistol is in .32 acp (7.65 m/m)

Texasjack:
Can it wait until Saturday evening 22 May?
I'll have a write-up for you then.
Best,
Noah

T-jack:
I have a couple moments to write it up, but no digital camera.
The Zastava M70 is for all intents and purposes a "compact" TT33 Tokarev, with a couple changes -- the barrel is stationary as in most small-caliber blowbacks and does not tilt on a link as in the TT33, for one.
Takedown is similar to a 1911 in that you push in on the recoil spring plunger under the muzzle and rotate the barrel bushing clockwise upwards until the bushing clears the clears the slide and begins to move forward. Control the bushing, plunger and recoil spring and ease them forward to release the tension. The slide stop can be pushed out from the right to the left, releasing the slide/barrel and spring assembly to slip forward off the frame.
The lockwork lifts out of the frame just like the TT33, but I DO NOT recommend disassembly of this unit on the M70 unless you are experienced with disassembly of the lockwork unit on the TT33 or it's clones.
HTH,
Noah
(edited for clarity, and to add the note about the lockwork unit)

Thanks Noah -
This works like a charm. I should have thought about trying this approach, but did not.
